Shadow Box Art

I work in a finely detailed collage style, using hand made papers, ephemera, found images, objects and text. Having lived in Japan and Morocco, I am interested in the interaction of shapes, patterns and textures. I often incorporate languages and symbols of other cultures in an attempt to create work that is iconographic and meditative.
